Formwork expert PASCHAL cooperates with Danish technology start-up

PASCHAL and Sensohive announce their partnership for the German market to further advance digitalisation and smart technologies in the construction industry.

The partnership between PASCHAL and Sensohive, the developer of Maturix, will open the door to the Internet of Things (IoT) for the Black Forest-based formwork manufacturer and make it easier for Maturix to gain a foothold in the German market with a strong and established partner at its side.

Maturix, the wireless IoT solution for measuring concrete strength, was already presented at bauma 2019 in PASCHAL's Concept Store. "After bauma, the demand for Maturix was huge!", says PASCHAL's Torsten Schrempp, Head of Sales for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH).

The partnership began about a year ago in Denmark when the start-up carried out various successful pilot projects with PASCHAL Danmark A/S.
After its successful use on a German test construction site, PASCHAL Maturix™ will now in future also be offered for purchase or rental for the German market.

From start-up to international company

With Kryton International Inc. from Vancouver in Canada, Sensohive has gained a new investor and partner since September 2019. Kryton holds 30% of the company's shares and forms part of the Board.
As a market leader for innovative concrete technologies with years of experience in the concrete industry, Kryton will bring a great deal of know-how to the former start-up. Thanks to the close partnership, Maturix can also establish itself in the North American market in future and can further expand the product range for the construction industry.

Intelligent concrete monitoring with PASCHAL Maturix™

Maturix is a solution from the Danish tech start-up Sensohive. It stands for innovation and wireless sensor technologies with the aim of processing data records in a user-friendly way to improve optimisation and efficiency in companies. Today the nearly 10-man team from Odense launched Maturix on the market in 2017 - a software and hardware solution that enables real-time monitoring of the concrete strength.

Experience shows that it gives project management a detailed insight into when building work can continue, i.e. when the formwork can be removed or a structure is capable of withstanding a load applied to it. At the same time, the entire quality documentation can be completed without expensive engineering hours.
