Aid transport to the Polish-Ukrainian border

30 tonnes of relief supplies were on their way from Offenburg to the war zone.

In view of the many terrible images reaching us from the affected areas in Ukraine, Diebold GmbH & Co.KG forwarders from Offenburg organised an aid transport with the support of the Konradin Offen-burg scout group, employees of Julabo GmbH from Seelbach, many private individuals and donors and PASCHAL-Werk G. Maier GmbH from Steinach. On 09th March 2022, an aid convoy with PASCHAL driver Mathias Wölfle and donations in kind such as food, drinks, hygiene and drugstore articles, medical material and technical relief supplies started from Offenburg to the Polish-Ukrainian border in order to provide relief supplies needed for the refugees and for those in need of help in Ukraine as quickly and in a coordinated manner as possible.

The Offenburg aid transport for people in the war zone in Ukraine comprises a trailer truck and a Sprinter with a large trailer, fully loaded with 30 tonnes of relief supplies and donations in kind, and left the city on Wednesday evening for Poland. The destination is a town on the Polish-Ukrainian border. From there, the aid will be distributed and taken to Ukraine by the local organisations.

At the weekend, the aid transport from Offenburg arrived, which had to cover about 1500 kilometres.
